During the scene where biggie is doing the demonstration for the South American representative lady, there’s a quick cut of some animals and their respective abilities. He mentions lizards, octopi, and frogs. Then a mouse is shown being restricted and killed by a snake. It’s very quick, but somewhat upsetting. No sound, just keep your eyes closed for a bit if you think it will bother you.

The whole film is based on a (fictional) drug that gives the user a superpower for 5 minutes. The drug (in capsule form) was developed by a shady company who have distributed it to local drug dealers so they can monitor its effect on users & perfect the formula. While not a conventional illicit drug the whole film revolves around it.

Aside from the finger shooting, a woman loses a finger when it gets frozen to the floor.

One of the first encounters the audience has with someone under the effects of the drug is the drug dealer called Newt; Art (Jamie Foxx) visits him at his derelict apartment & he has graphic facial scarring that he didn't have at the start of the film, & when he takes a 'power' pill it is revealed his 5 min superpower is basically a human flame. Though this technically doesn't kill him (overdosing on the drug when he takes 3 more pills causes him to explode) & he appears impervious to the flame his whole body is engulfed in, it's not a pretty sight. Also, after one of the main antagonists 'Biggie' takes a tablet which causes his body to morph into a grotesque hulk-like figure, Art manages to trigger a gas explosion & you see Biggie engulfed in flame as the whole place explodes; so, again, he's not really burned alive rather killed in the explosion...

Art (Jamie Foxx) is tracking down the people/corporation behind the drug as it is revealed they took his daughter who had manifested permanent powers (thanks to the questionable experimentation Art went through as a soldier years before her birth) to develop the formula for the drug. Also, Art kidnaps Robin early on to find out what she knows in his search for information, but they ultimately work together

Possibly when Art throws Robin in the back of his ute (or 'truck') & shuts the hard top cover so she is trapped in the tray while he drives to a different location
