In the first episode of season 2, a character undergoes nonconsensual surgery and wakes up horrified, he then spends the season trying to reassure himself that he’s “still a person” despite everyone around him referring to him as a monster. Static man in s3 doesnt have a body and it causes him great amounts of stress

not quite. in season one a lesbian character goes missing and its implied that the people who knew her think she has died (she hasnt). In season 2 a man describes his relationship with a man from [spoilers] The City and says that he “disappeared” one day. Its implied that he went back to The City, but the man telling the story doesnt know that. At the end of season 3 a gay character is almost killed but survives (not a hate crime)

His death is ambiguous at first but you find out in the end that he died, off screen. His death is the first one the audience is exposed to and is the driving action for the protagonist.
