At different points in S1, main characters hunt for food and the dead animals are shown on-screen, a rabbit is violently squished, many bugs die on screen, a main character who is an animal has a death scene, and some animals die off screen be it by fire or crushed by rubble. Similar themes appear in later seasons.

[SPOILERS]
An animal companion dies on-screen, and as it is shown in a backstory later, this character's previous animal companion also died. Both animal companions were able to 'speak' however, so it may be easier to view them as a character rather than a 'pet.'

The media as a whole has recurring themes of childlike characters. I'm going to answer yes to this question purely because the content involving children in TSDS is more than questionable.
[SPOILERS] Meliodas consistently gropes Elizabeth, who is sixteen in S1 (characters do make comments constantly about Meliodas looking like a kid, but he disagrees with them). Ban is in love with a fairy who is mentioned to look like a child, he mistakes a literal child for this woman at some point.
King is shown to have known Diane since she was a child, and it was shown that he may have developed some feelings for her at that time. As King is a shy character who flusters easily, he may have just been very attached to her. He is shown to be in love with her when she is grown up.
A character who has an adult form is later revealed to have a true form that is that of a small child. At no point is it explicitly stated that somebody is attracted to somebody for the sake of them being a child/looking like a child, but it's all still uncomfortable.
Honestly there's probably more I'm forgetting.

S1 a horse is on-screen when a massive attack happens, it is killed off-screen and it is done in a way where it did not draw attention to the horse, rather to the mass destruction happening.

Elizabeth, a sixteen year old, is sexualized a lot in S1. There may be more.

In season 1, the main cast visits the capital of the dead, where a supporting character's ghost is shown. Two children's ghosts also appear. Another character's ghost is shown occasionally throughout seasons 2 and 3. None of this is shown in a scary way.

King can change forms and become a larger man. He will suddenly change into this form if he becomes overwhelmed at times, and the form is used as a brunt for many fat jokes or stereotypes. Comments such as him smelling bad in this form are made.
