No but characters do walk underwater and there is a difficult bit where they have to rescue something trapped under a river. While they have the ability to breath it is a difficult job they are doing and it feels ‘tight’ for want of a better word. They are ok afterwards though

There is depression and bipolar mentioned in a couple of characters. There isn’t a full anxiety attack but a couple of times there is an extreme stress reaction that doesn’t get to the AA stage. I found them difficult but not impossible so I thought they should be mentioned even though they aren’t full attacks

Historic style hospital set up in response to blood sports, it’s not too gory as it’s YA fiction but it’s not designed to make it all seem exciting either. There is also a plague hospital but presented from a functional perspective, how the staff work so not only focused on the ‘gore’ but the hope.
