Throughout S1, one character remains infatuated with an ex girlfriend. In E1 he shows up at her dads bar after receiving an accidental phone-call from her, in E2 he shows up at her house to apologise and give her something, and in E3 he is accused of stalking by her dad.
In S1E3, two characters run into each other at a restaurant and each make a joke about stalking the other. This is just a joke.
