Technically yes, but it's avoidable, not graphic, and is reversed.
In the fifth Season of Abyss quest, which can be accessed from the boat seen on the rightmost side of the Wasteland social area, you and a spirit are swallowed by a large sea creature, but you both escape unscathed.

A character is shown spying after another character in the village of dreams, though reliving this spirits memory is optional and they do not appear to mean any harm beyond being overly curious.

One seasonal spirit is based on The Drunkard from The Little Prince. He can be found inside the giant pot in Starlight Desert. Even though the spirit drinks dark water instead of alcohol, his dialog is almost exactly the same as in the book, clearly about addiction.

some might interpret players incapacitating crabs and holding them over fire (as if to cook them) as this, but nothing really happens to the crabs other than turning red. additionally, there is a small area in golden wasteland with three crabs being spit roasted over a fire, but they can be set free, and they walk around unharmed afterwards.

there are creatures in golden wasteland and the final area that resemble bugs in both appearance and sounds. i think they're actually little crabs, but they would be frightening to someone afraid of bugs.

during shard quests and eden runs, if your sky kid is hit by certain objects/entities, they can be completely drained of winged light. their form becomes shadowy and encrusted with dark crystals, unable to fly or walk until another player comes to light them. this can also happen if you're in an area where dark dragons are present and they manage to hunt you down

fire/flame is actually vital for the player characters, as it provides life force. standing on top of/in fire recharges your sky kid's light, and therefore a core game mechanic

at some point in the musical quest for the running wayfarer (from season of AURORA), the adult figure helping the child across the desert falls to the ground and the child worriedly runs over to them. in an animated cutscene that follows, said child sits in front of a gravestone and weeps, indicating their guardian passed away.

you may accidentally get stuck in a small space (e.g. between two rocks) and unable to easily escape. as a result, the camera tends to automatically zoom in very close and shake a lot when you try to move. it might trigger claustrophobia. from the menu, you can always escape to home, but if anything stops you from even that you can simply close the game, open it, and use the return shrine. it'll respawn you at the beginning of the area you were last in.
