Destoroyah, the film's main antagonist, begins as a colony of small organisms which kill all of the fish in an aquarium.
Godzilla Jr. is killed after being dropped from a large height by Destoroyah, but is later revived by absorbing Godzilla's energy when he undergoes meltdown.
On that note, the central conflict of the film revolves around the fact that Godzilla's heart is undergoing a sort of nuclear meltdown, and it is made clear from early on that he will not survive. At the end of the movie, he does melt and die as a result of this.

Not explicitly vomiting, but Godzilla Jr. is seen foaming at the mouth at one point.

The scenes involving the smaller forms of Destoroyah have several jumpscares.

Most, if not all Godzilla movies have many flashing and strobing lights.
