The main villain was neglected and abused as a child. He grew up to become vengeful and set out elaborate plans to get those who hurt him arrested or killed.
The main antagonist is EXTREMELY emotionally (and likely physically) abusive and manipulative towards his son, shown on screen in many potentially triggering dialogue exchanges.
The culprit of the final case uses some of his animals as an armrest, and when he's distressed he holds two rabbits up by their ears, which can be viewed as animal abuse.

Multiple characters become unconscious throughout the game. One character is drugged and kidnapped while unconscious. Another falls unconscious due to poisonous gas.
A character that appears in the 1st and final cases has a broken arm. Another character appears to have several broken bones in case 4 due to the bandages she wears, it it turns out she didn't have any broken bones at all and these bandages were just preventive.
The defendant of the third case is interrogated by the police so harshly that his formerly black hair turns white overnight. He is deprived of sleep and is coerced into confessing to a crime he didn't commit.
It is originally believed a victim fell to his death, but this turns out not to be the case. A different character also falls of a roof, however she survives the fall.

Not quite, but a coroner and a nurse appear in case 4, and the latter also briefly takes care of a character that appears severely injured. Case 4 overall just feels like one massive hospital scene, despite the fact that no actual hospital appeared.
One of the recurring characters also suffers from anxiety as a result of the abuse he receives from his father. He periodically becomes distressed and cries when things seem to go out of control.
