HUFFING from balloons (never clarify what they inhale exactly just confirms it’s drugs slight possible peer pressure Teenagers in outdoor campfire setting/ indoor house “kick back” small gathering .
The huffing balloon scene was made from a perspective to probably influence the feeling of what they could be feeling has a more trippy vibe also just lots of laughter actually was a sweet, happy & mostly innocent scene for about three minutes. Whole main character reflected on still feeling like an outsider then joins in.

The main character does, once. Pretty early after she has returned to the caravan after drinking and taking drugs.
