Angsty and awkward fifteen year old Ginny Miller often feels more mature than her thirty year old mother, the irresistible and dynamic Georgia Miller. After years on the run, Georgia desperately wants to put down roots in picturesque New England and give her family something they've never had... a normal life. But it's not all carpool and Kombucha as Georgia's past threatens her and her family's new way of life... and Georgia will do anything to protect her family.
Georgia and Maddie recount their childhood abuse from their father figure in episodes 6/7 and in the very first episode we see a flashback of him being violent with 15-year-old Georgia before she escapes. In a flashback, Ginny is groped by her stepdad in the yoga studio.
Georgia miller/ Mary Atkins was @bused her whole childhood to age 14 by her dad her mom doesn't do anything just lays there you see him do it a few times usually just flashbacks and there are mentions throughout s1-2
Georgia watches the rabbit who has been getting into her garden, and almost looks like she is just admiring it, then she suddenly pulls out a hand gun equipped with a silencer and shoots it. I think it was supposed to be funny? She is then shown carelessly dropping its body in her dumpster. It was unintentionally a very cold depiction of how we humans are cruel, callous, self-important creatures.
At the beginning of episode 5 (I think) Georgia sees a rabbit eating out of her garden and she shoots it with a BB gun. You don’t see it getting shot, but just a moment later you see her throwing the body into the trash
Georgia and Maddie talk about it at one point They talk about "they're insides curling up" when they think about the violence they endured from Maddie's dad The whole discussion is difficult to hear tbh
Georgia will talk about it again later during the series During 1 episode she tells Ginny and it's hard to hear it again and see her cry It'll mentioned again
In the first couple episodes (don't remember the number sorry :() Georgia slaps ginny but she fells really bad about and never meant to hurt ginny she did it by accident
Ginny has a nightmare about her mom putting a pillow over her head in episode 1 (I think) and in episode 2 and 3 she imagines having struggles breathing
There is a flashback to a man being murdered via (overdose of) pills and he is briefly shown to begin having a seizure. There are also faked seizures by Maxine at Halloween as a joke.
There is a lot of underage sex, Ginnys step father touches her inappropriately, Georgia and her younger sister were both raped when they were young, and Georgia was a teen mom
max pretend to be possessed multiple times in the halloween episode, with fake blood dripping from her mouth. many times throughout the episode it’s not worth it to watch and skip all the time

No on-screen pooping but mentions as Ginny's nickname with Marcus becomes Pooh at one point He's gonna make multiple jokes throughout the series with Pooh/poo
Marcus is really drunk and wets himself while sitting on his bed with Ginny, near the end of the episode. However, we don't actually see anything, it is only talked about.
Abby has an eating disorder. She purges during the Halloween episode off-screen. Her eating disorder is well hidden, and it seems it will be played into more in season 2. The way it affects her mood and other aspects of her life are noticeable if you also have an ED. She also has body dysmorphia. See the BDD category for details.
Abby is body dysmorphic and we see pieces of it throughout the series. She makes physical altercations to herself in one episode using duct tape. She body checks a lot as well.
Ginny struggles with anxiety/panic attacks and self harm; Marcus has depression, and develops a drinking problem as a result; Abby is bulimic/has body image and eating issues, and the same goes for Samantha. Georgia also has panic attacks, largely due to trauma from her abusive childhood and past abusive relationships. All of these things are fairly significant parts of the respective characters' storylines.
On a less graphic/frequent level (at least as of season 3), Max is also implied to be somewhat depressed and to have some issues reminiscent of ADHD and/or mild OCD-like compulsions in the last two episodes, and Austin also appears to be traumatised by the events of the last two seasons.
At the sophomore sleepover the main room that they're in has flashing lights (I think for the whole time? I turned on descriptive audio and looked away except for when the scene switched rooms from time to time) and there is also a photo booth there that has additional flashing lights.
No. Emergency contraception (morning-after pill, Plan B, etc.) is not abortion. Conception does not happen immediately. Plan B is a higher dose of oral hormonal contraceptive, which means it can prevent conception from happening when taken in a timely manner.
Abby's thighs are made fun of at a party by a friend. She brushes it off exteriorly, but you can tell that it's affected her and her BDD brain is kicking in.
Maxine pretends to have seizures, with fake blood pouring out of her mouth, as a dramatic joke throughout Halloween: this could be interpreted as insensitive towards people who suffer/have suffered seizures in real life.
When Georgia is living in a hotel and running a gambling ring she is 17, a clearly older man continuously asks her out. Georgia gets arrested and her daughter was going to be taken away so she says she's engaged to the older man and they eventually get married so she can keep her daughter. He takes advantage of this
There are multiple nude scenes tbh You can see every one of them coming I don't have timecodes right now or even the episodes in which it occurs but I can tell you who's gonna have sex CAREFUL SPOILERS!
Ginny/Marcus : multiple times but you never see either of them naked, they're under the sheets or you only see their faces Marcus fingers/stimulates ginny at some points Ginny goes down on Marcus 2 times
Ginny/Hunter : Hunter goes down on Ginny during one scene but that's all
Ginny/Wolfe : They have sex during a party in some guy's laundry room
Max/Sophie : At one point they try to have sex but Max is too stressed out During another scene they do but it cuts before it gets really serious (they start to undress each other up to being in bras)
Abby/Press : She's gonna grind on him at one point and also kiss him multiple times I'm not sure but I think they have sex at one point
Georgia/Zion : They have sex but you don't see it, you see them kiss and going up in Georgia's room but that's it
Georgia/Paul : I remember on scene of them really having sex, moaning and all, you only see their faces though
Joe/Cynthia : 2 times I think, you see them start but not much
Scenes of masturbation : - Georgia --> with sextoys (1 time I think) - Ginny --> with an electric toothbrush (2 times)
I might have forgotten some sex scenes but these are the main ones Hope it helps
