The main character used to live as a yakuza, so he has moments referencing that past life / reacting to normal situations similar to someone with PTSD. Ex: when trying to buy a car, his wife says "Be prepared for anything" (meaning be aware of other cars while test driving) but he takes it to mean anyone and everyone around him is a fellow gang member out to hurt him, and basically had a short on-screen flashback / panic attack moment in turn.

Closest one so far is the new car epsiode where when test driving he expects people to be out to get him (when in reality theyre not) and panics in trying to drive out of the situation but once he realizes he can't, he immediately leaves the car and says something to the tune of "I can't do this. I have to pull put of the deal [of test-driving this car]"
