update: in season 2, we see the aftermath in graphic detail. Someone kills another character and then instructs someone else to make sure the body is unrecognisable. We see him raise up a hammer and smash it down on the guy's face offscreen, then later it cuts back to the pulp of the guy's head. At first I couldn't even tell what it was. It's followed by a lenghty sequence of the guy's body getting dismembered with a saw, but interspersed with a different scene, so honestly just look away.
