if violent rape is what bothers you there's none of that, but there are scenes where norma acts inappropriately towards her teenage son. incestuous sexual abuse/molestation is very heavily implied

near the start of the movie we find out that norman's father died when norman was a young child. the death is offscreen but we see his corpse at the funeral while present-day norman explains how he died. later on norman poisons his mother and she dies slowly onscreen. her corpse is also seen multiple times throughout the movie

in a scene near the end, a living character sees visions of dead characters. these are treated more like memories/hallucinations of his past than ghosts
