Angelo is a nonbinary character who is frequently flirty and is implied to have crushes on multiple brawlers, but never appears to be forcing themself on anyone
Larry and Lawrie act as cops for Starr park and Lawrie is said to not really care about rules unless he's enforcing them. Their actions are almost always treated positively or at least played for laughs.
Technically there are disabled characters voiced by able-bodied voice actors, but there are no instances where a real life able-bodied person pretends to be disabled
A lot of the advertising material revolves around the idea that Starr park covers up a lot of messed up things going on behind the scenes under the veneer of a fun theme park
Belle/Sam are a married couple, Janet/Bonnie are siblings and Stu is their adoptive uncle, Nita/Leon are siblings, and all of them are playable and thus can die.
A lot of losing animations can be interpreted as a meltdown, particularly Grom's (he becomes so overwhelmed he grabs at his head, sits on the floor and starts rocking back and forth)
The character Najia uses origami snakes in her attacks. Cobra Lola and Galaxy Storm Lola are optional skins that replace Lola's fox scarf with a large snake. The character Byron is also snake themed, but he is human and there are no actual snakes present in any of his skins. One of the "crane games" for the buffies has a snake decoration on it.
The character Alli is themed after alligators but she herself is mostly humanoid. There are a few alligator/crocodile themed skins for other characters
