A puppy is abandoned and is shown cowering in the street until they are rescued by a main character, this becomes a focal point of the movie. No harm befalls them however and they are rescued quite quickly.
A cold slushy spills on a male driving. They make a comment of "ah that's cold! I have blue slushie in my skivvies (underwear)". I wouldn't consider this trauma, but certainly uncomfortable. It's a brief moment in the very beginning of the movie.
Yes! A person crashes and their vehicle ends up dangling over a bridge. During the rescue, you can see him hyperventilate while looking down at the water below. Chase asks him to remain calm and he says "No deal, I'm freaking out".
Chase also has a couple times that he freezes up during recuses. Most notably, he freezes on top of a building while working on rescuing people stuck up high. He was working on rescuing them, stumbled a little bit, and then ends up cowering against the building. When he is brought back down by Skye he says he doesn't know what happened he just froze. He breathes a little quicker during the initial part before freezing.
Feels weird to mark yes for PAW PATROL, of all things, but Chase has PTSD regarding Adventure City. The others are understanding about it but it does cause a temporary rift between him and Ryder at an emotional climax.
There is a scene of a car underwater. There people inside the car are fine and there is no water within the car. The angles of the car interior may be slightly claustrophobic.
No abuse and no explicitly autistic characters but Rubble is briefly teased for taking figures of speech literally. Could be upsetting for perceptive/sensitive autistic littles.
YES! Absolutely yes! I'm not sure why there is more nos. A car crashes in the very beginning of the movie, hitting the rails of a bridge that causes sparks and loud sounds, and the cab of the vehicle ends up dangling over the bridge above the water. Tire marks are left on the road. Perhaps people are saying no because it's a semi and not a car car? But I would definitely 100% consider this a car crash.
Kinda. There is a car that ends up under water in a storm. It starts off just above the surface and the family is calling for help; it then sinks under the water. The family is two adults and a child. There is no water inside the car, but the car is fully submerged under the water and there are scenes showing the underwater view. The child seems very chill with the situation, trying to take selfies with the rescue pup who dives to them. The parents are more concerned, but nobody is fully freaking out.
The family is rescued. One scene a rescue pup arrives underwater in a suit, and shortly after the family is shown in the river holding onto a rescue raft. The car itself is not brought up and it doesn't show the family being brought out of the car, just shows them in the car with the pup going to help, and then out of the car by the raft in the river.
This scene starts at 1hr 02min55sec (26:24 Netflix/backwards time) and lasts until 1hr04min or 25:16 Netflix/backwards time. The scene is entirely skippable, nothing important would be missed. The rescue pups that do the rescue are Zuma and Liberty (helping by bringing around the rescue raft).
