There’s a cat that lives in the record shop and she’s just fine from start to finish.

Minor spoiler Multiple characters are manipulated and pressured by a large corporation, and as a result they kind of gaslight other characters about their traumas

In a flashback scene - there is a scene involving a parent-child slap.

The falling is shown, the death is not. Caused by avalanche in Episode 1 towards the end.

No, but adult characters are terrified of that happening as a child character gets into a very dangerous situation.

Minor spoiler Both parents die, and a sibling who is a mentor and pseudo guardian die. One parent’s death is revealed to the protagonist late, and they did not have a healthy relationship to the parent, so it is not very emotional. The other parents death is a much more emotional flashback scene in a hospital.

Completely avoidable and not visible, in Chapter 4 you can view a Polaroid in the bar. The whole memory is a character trying to convince another character to get sick after getting too drunk. Toward the end you can hear vomiting. You can mute the game from when you view the memory to until you can control your character once again if needed.

Yes. The town sheriff makes a joke about unfairly arresting the protagonist of color, and it’s portrayed as just awkward and harmless instead of extremely distasteful.

None of it is showed onscreen, but Alex does talk about knowing a kid who committed suicide depending on your choices. In her journal is also an entry talking about (probably) that same kid. None of it is explained in detail from what I know though.

Off-screen. It’s discussed that a group of miners died in the mine; some were crushed to death and some drowned.
