There is an episode early on where Mieruko can see her friend Hana being touched inappropriately, without her knowledge, by a ghost that makes comments about what he is doing. She doesn't know how to stop it or how to help, so it continues. It only ends, because the ghost sees the school nurse and decides to go after her instead of Hana. There is no resolution, and she flashes back to Hana being touched at least once.

In the second episode, one of the ghosts touches Hana’s breasts and upper thigh. but she doesn’t know it’s happening or even feel it. The protagonist sees it, and tries to get her away from it. The same thing happens afterwards to a teacher.
