Yumi dies like in the original but her death is directly avenged though in an attempt to balance it. It’s also heavily implied that Integra’s deceased father was bisexual and in a relationship with Alucard, and Abridged!Walter’s motivation for his betrayal is changed to unresolved sexual tension with Alucard (who in his own words “no one alive can comprehend his sexual preference” as well as taking on a female form just because)
Integra uses it once during episode 1. She uses it to refer to Alucard suggesting that the group behind the vampire attacks on the Hellsing Organisation is the Nazis.
Integras parents are both dead. Her fathers death is shown on screen in episode 9 (hes poisoned by his brother). Theres a flashback in episode 6 showing seras’ parents being killed. Alucard mentions that his favourite kill was his father
Episode 9: A child character accidentally falls down a flight of stairs to ward off their murderous uncle but they survive with the only serious injury being an unrelated gun shot wound
It’s heavily implied that Integra X Alucard is canon to this continuity, which while there are supernatural circumstances that don’t make it as bad Alucard knew Integra since she was a child which can make things slightly iffy
Schrodinger is at one point called the “why boner” by Alucard but (considering his backstory and him repeatedly insulting his Catholic counterparts by bringing up the church molestations) it seems to be less him being attracted to him so much as him being a bit edgelordy
Recurring jokes regarding CSA in the Catholic Church. On a more serious note, a main character was also a survivor of this which partially explains his wisecracks on the subject
****Yes for only this section: In episode 6 theres a flashback to seras’ childhood where its told that sera’s mother was shot and then assaulted in front of her while she (seras) bled out on the floor (the assault is not shown). In episode eight god asks alucard what the source of his anger is and its revealed that he underwent 10 years of being assaulted (also not shown)****

There are a lot of times where villains will threaten to r*pe other characters, specifically in the first few episodes (2010-2012 were rough years for the internet). Second episode there is a phone call where a man graphically describes what he wants to do to Integra (r*pe her). It is skippable.
Also lots of poking fun at the priest/church affiliated characters for stereotyped child abuse. (The first time alucard and anderson are on screen together, alucard says “and whats this? No little timmy glued to your crotch? Progress!” Anderson is not actually a pedophile). The beginning of episode 5 has a man ask a woman to “show us your tits” he is slapped.
A character sets himself on fire (ep2), a man shoots himself in the head (ep3), integra hands reginald a gun and says “there are five holy bullets, save one for yourself” (vampire nazis are after him and this is to prevent him being turned or tortured), we later see/hear him explode (ep5). There are catholic suicide bombers (ep8)
There are nazis but they dont outright say anything antisemetic. (ie. no one gets hatecrimed and also all the nazis die). In episode 5 when the nazis are talking about destroying london and asking which landmarks to obliterate one of them asks about the holocaust musueum and the head nazi gets serious and the music stops when he says “leave that be, no one will deny what we did.”
1: Integra dresses extremely masculine in order to garner respect from her peers (going so far as to have people call her “sir”) and is often mistaken for a man by other characters (to clarify, she is not a trans man). 2: In episode 4 bernadotte is referred to offhandedly as “the woman” because he has long braided hair. 3: In episode 4, Shrodinger (a male character who appears androgynous) is referred to as a “boygirl” by alucard
There are nazis. So Theres definitely imagery. The word “m**nspeak” is used once in episode 5 to refer to japanese. In episode 6 a bunch of papal knights from different countries appear that are wearing white hoods (not the kkk) one of them is from canada and is labeled “salvation army” and the leader says “lets kill us some gays!” father maxwell replies “…nazis.” And the leader replies “yeah sorry whatever”. The actual KKK (they dont call themselves that but it’s INCREDIBLY CLEAR) appear last (theres four groups of knights) and father maxwell is rightly horrified when their leader says hes “uncomfortable killing nazis”. Father maxwell is in fact homophobic though and talks about it when he complains about the pope
No relationships in the show itself although in Episode 9 Alucard (being Alucard) makes an edgy joke referencing the topic by describing his relationship with Seras as “tags on P*rnhub”. And even then you’d have to actually be familiar with the site to understand it
