In episode one, when Dexter is delivering the gun, the d-face character uses drugs and offers some to Dexter who refuses.

During episode one of this 2021 reboot, at 44:39… Dexter has been having an encounter with a beautiful white buck out in the snow. He had a gun but decided not to shoot it because it came up to him and he realized he couldn’t kill it because of its sweet, expressive eyes and gentle demeanor. Of course just as he starts gently petting it, some heartless total asshole from offscreen suddenly blows it away with a high-powered rifle. We see blood splatters on Dexter’s face and the deer staggers and falls down dead as the hunter prick yells WOOOOO!! YEEEAHHHH!! On the bright side, (SPOILER ALERT)
if you’ve seen Dexter, you know what Dexter does when to someone who kills an innocent. After 45.00 it is fairly safe to watch, BUT you do see the deer’s body with blood around it and Dexter has to cut the deceased deer’s throat, and because the snow is pure white it stands out in contrast. Actually I guess it’s technically a buck with antlers.

A beautiful white buck is shot and killed by some rotten bastard of a trophy hunter. See under “Is an animal killed?” for exact times. We see it die and the pool of blood, which looks more severe because of the contrast of the blood on the white snow. The dead buck’s throat is cut soon after for reasons that are a spoiler to explain.

Well, it's Dexter, so there is stabbing. There are however a few instances where cuts are made or shown: a large cut on someone's thigh is shown (as a photo), in Dexter's imagination some cuts are made (but not shown in detail) and there's a brief scene at a party, in which a girl asks Harrison to cut her ankle, which is shown in detail. Green haired girl slashes someone's face with a mirror shard (small cut, very little blood) and the buck at the beginning has its throat cut by Dexter to end its suffering. Later it's cut open and disemboweld. I'm sensitive to cutting and I didn't think it was that bad as far as I've watched (Episode 7) but it surely is a recurring thing in this mini series.

After killing someone, Dexter cuts up the body. You see the man’s head being placed in a plastic bag.

Episode 6, close to the end, during the wrestling match. Visible and audible breaking of an arm (no visible bone, but still close up image and disturbing). After Kurt tells Harrison to take his rage out on his opponent. The scene is repeated at the beginning of Episode 7 and 8, so watch out for that too (or simply skip the recaps). Again in Episode 8 around 19:58. Also a couple of broken noses here and there..

A tooth is pulled from the jaw of a old corpse. No blood or anything but might still be disturbing for some. You'll know when to look away

Mild Spoiler - Episode 5. Green haired girl. When he tells her to run, look away until you hear a shot (ca. 41:20). If you also want to avoid the bloody aftermath, skip to about 41:46. It is shown again later in the episode. Look away when you see someone kneading clay

A parent doesn’t die, but the passing of Dexter’s and Harrison’s moms is mentioned. Also, Harrison’s step mom does, but we only hear about it.

A dead person from Dexter’s past appears and converses with him regularly. This format is sort of a staple of the original series. They aren’t a ghost ghost, but more like a hallucination.

Episode 1 is safe!

Episode 2, right before the 16 minute mark, as soon as Angela drives away in her cruiser we hear Lily v*. No visual, not sure how graphic the sound is because I had the tv on mute.

Episodes 3 and 4 are safe.

Although it seems touch and go, episode 5 is safe.

6 is good.

Also there's a scene in which a large needle enters the skin. It's shown in closeup. I can't remember which episode it was, but you will want to look away when you see someone washing the body of a dead girl. You'll know

No drowning but someone does pop out of an iced over lake and appears to be gasping for air. It’s a very quick scene.
