1984. Lidia (11) lives in an isolated mining village in the Chilean desert with her brother Alexo (23), a strong, effeminate man. The place is being affected by an unknown illness that has already killed several men, and according to rumours, it is transmitted if a man falls in love with another through their gaze.When the illness knocks on their door, Lidia observes her brother's eyes and confronts the secrets behind the myth.
