On the first day at his new school, Cameron instantly falls for Bianca, the gorgeous girl of his dreams. The only problem is that Bianca is forbidden to date until her ill-tempered, completely un-dateable older sister Kat goes out, too. In an attempt to solve his problem, Cameron singles out the only guy who could possibly be a match for Kat: a mysterious bad boy with a nasty reputation of his own.
It isn’t exactly certain whether the parent passed or abandoned the family, but Kat mentions their mother leaving. The actual abandonment is not shown, only briefly mentioned.
Patrick is paid to take out Kat but falls in love with her. When he pushes her to go to prom with him despite her not wanting to go she asks what's in it for him and he denies that he will gain anything but the pleasure of her company. He calls her crazy. She later appears at prom and apologizes for accusing him though a few minutes later she learns the truth.
at around 15:30, bianca says to kat ‘can’t you just find some blind, dead, r*tard to take you to the movies so i can have one date?’ during an argument. if this is triggering to you i’d recommend stopping when kat walks up the stairs, and replaying when she starts talking again.
A few characters are seen spitting tabacco into a crystal vase. Another character reacts in horror and grabs the vase away from them. It's gross, but it lasts for maybe a few seconds.
No visuals but the sounds are heard, it comes on fairly suddenly but many fellow emetaphobia folks know that any scene with drinking alcohol may result in a sick scene like this
It’s not direct but a character says “can she take her midol before coming to class” after a girl gets in an argument. Midol is a common menstrual cramp reliever.
The entire movie is literally about a bunch of teenagers trying to sleep with each other. There's also a scene when a teenager flashes her middle-aged teacher and a group of students, so points for normalizing pedophilia. Also a lot of sexual jokes; for example, one character draws a pair of b*****s on a lunch tray and a p***s on someone's face.
