No assaults visually take place, but Crumb's brother talks about the times he molested women casually and in a positive light. As if it was a completely normal thing to do. Then rape is described as a thing he "never got to do", but wanted to.

To me, this is just as bad as a visual rape scene.

Discussed by the person who committed the assault as if it was a funny anecdote, but not shown.

There are also some pretty graphic comics shown that depict or imply sexual assault, grotesque sorts of sexualized imagery, and reducing women to sexual body parts.

In one comic a woman is revealed to have had her head pushed inside of her body, when it is pulled back out later. She does not suffer any injury during or afterward, but she finds out that during that state she was given to another man to be used sexually.

Discussed but not shown. Main character talks about his brother destroying a toy rather than letting the main character play with it when they were children.

Comics that glorify/fetishize incest between parents and children are shown in detail at one point; some interviewees and artists attempt to justify it

Graphic discussions of sex, masturbation, sexual fantasies of the main character and some of his family members both as children and adults (illustrations are shown of some things that are talked about). Many of the comics and artwork shown are very graphic and sexual in nature, and could be viewed as pretty disturbing.
