PETA has published a complaint in which the animal rights organization claims that a pig was killed during filming. PETA has sent a letter to Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings asking him to cut out the scene. I haven't seen the series yet, so I don't know if the scene is still included.

Is this scene still in the series?

In episode 3, Dragon Palace, a cat in a gift box is killed. The scene lasts from ~33:20 - 36:00 and can be safely skipped without missing plot-relevant details. The only important information in the scene is that *spoilers* Nicklas's parents think it is funny when he kills the cat.

Episode 1, it cuts away before the actual “act” but it’s still hard to watch leading up to that.
