The main character suffers from schizophrenia and, while hallucinating, leaves his baby in a tub and it almost drowns. Luckily the mother quickly runs up to save him.

(SPOILER) right after the baby scene, his hallucinations "confront" Nash and he accidentally shoves his wife into a wall. it wasn't intentional but the scene still feels domestic violence-y

The infant in the bathtub scene was held above water the entire time- his mother's hands were edited out. He was never fully submerged, but CGI was used to make it appear so.

(SPOILER) There is a scene in the hospital, after the scene with Nash's first meeting with his wife. The nurse calls, "Code Red" on the phone, then the camera pans over to Nash's closed door and we see that he's cut himself where he thought the numbers on his wrist once were. There is a lot of blood

The movie have a several mental institution scene. In a long period of time the protagonist is kidnapped by a psychiatrist and nursers, is put in a manicomio agains his will, is set in a white squared room closed, transported by nurses contentions in some scenes and even got electroshock therapy.
If you have some psychiatric or mental hospital related trauma or trigger I highly recommend you not see the movie or watch it with care. Be beware.

It is very minimal but in the beginning John tilts a glass to reflect and refract the light to make little rainbow lines and then lines it up with fruit and a tie, then is brightens but doesn't quite flash. Had to look away though.
Later at around 25 minutes in there is a decoding scene where he sees numbers light up and when he finds specifics, it flashes behind the numbers.
A little after 30 minutes they are in a lab with controls that have many little flashing bulbs.
At 40 minutes there is an old style camera with a bad flash, then at 45 minutes he sees letters light up and the whole page flashes.
At 56 minutes there are headlights and a lot of gun fire flashes which were bad.
At 1:31 he sees specific letters again and the page flashes.
Then at 1:32 they turn on lights that constantly dump and brighten causing a consistent minor flash.
1:38 his thoughts run wild and it shows a few flashes.
Even with all this, it was absolutely worth it. What an incredible film 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The entire movie is ableist in the sense that they inaccurately portrayed John Nash as making these academic and scientific achievements while going through psychosis, when his achievements were made before onset of psychosis and after making a recovery/stabilizing. Sure, it's positive ableism (a la "OCD people are so clean", "autistic people are savant geniuses"), but still ableism.
