A League of Their Own
Movie • 1992 • Comedy
ReportAs America's stock of athletic young men is depleted during World War II, a professional all-female baseball league springs up in the Midwest, funded by publicity-hungry candy maker Walter Harvey (Garry Marshall). Competitive sisters Dottie Hinson (Geena Davis) and Kit Keller (Lori Petty) spar with each other, scout Ernie Capadino (Jon Lovitz) and grumpy has-been coach Jimmy Dugan (Tom Hanks) on their way to fame. Madonna and Rosie O'Donnell co-star as two of the sisters' teammates.

When Kit attacks a teammate, she is dragged off and hauled into the locker room. I think there are a couple other times when someone is held back by an arm or something but there are no actual restraints used.

No but there’s a scene where a female pro baseball player is heavily bullied for crying after her coach was cruel to her because “there’s no crying in baseball!” It was, at the time, considered exclusively a man’s sport and the underlying implication is that he’s expecting her to behave “like a man” because men don’t cry, of course (sarcasm).

The ending is a reunion many years after the storyline has taken place. Not all of the characters are still alive. It is a feel good ending as it's implied they had a good life.
