contains sort of spoilers!!! i was as vague as i could be!! a few character sacrifice themselves throughout the show, but that’s through a desire to protect their friends rather than a want to die. a minor character that you meet in episode 1 tried to commit suicide off screen, we are only aware of this because his dad says it and we see the scars on his wrists. a girl who is bullied is standing on the school roof about to commit suicide but she doesn’t do it. a nameless and faceless girl is shown hanging from a school window, i’m unsure if this was a zombie mishap but my first thought was that she had taken her own life rather than become a zombie. a man shoots himself in the head, this is a proper scene rather than a sudden quick shot. suicidal ideation and intent is talked about matter of factly in moments throughout the show, but still treated seriously.
