the film has a lot of obviously cgi zombie monkeys and they die in some pretty graphic ways. none of the monkeys look realistic but they're bloody and screaming any time they're on screen so it can still be stressful.

the first monkey appears at 0:33:08. it fights someone in a kitchen and is thrown into a hot wok and cooked until it stops moving, screaming the whole time. the last shot of the monkey is at 0:33:48 and the scene ends a few seconds afterwards.

the second monkey scene happens at 0:47:31. a monkey attempts to come through a vent to attack someone but the vent cover is held down over it, pressing hard against its body as it struggles. the scene changes at 0:47:40, and the fight resumes at 0:48:12. the scenes in-between are plot-relevant. at 0:48:24 the fight is resolved with the monkey being shot. you don't see the body.

at 1:15:50, a character is in a room full of cages. the cages have various monkey corpses inside them, mostly fur and blood. a monkey attempts to attack the character through a cage at 1:16:26 and more monkeys are heard nearby. the character leaves the room at 1:16:47 and the cages aren't seen again. during the next few scenes, monkey screaming and some shots of them chasing the character are seen briefly. at 1:22:16 the character escapes the monkeys by holding up a handheld motor and using it to destroy them as chunks of flesh and blood splatter around. the action scene ends at 1:22:35 and no more monkeys are seen in the film.

the zombie monkeys are zombified deliberately in order to be experimented on. they are kept in a dark room in small cages. none of the experimentation is shown on-screen.

aside from the various zombie monkeys detailed above, at 0:26:52 a presumably real skinned goat or sheep is shown in the kitchen. at 0:27:02 the body is gone but there are further shots of meat preparation with smaller chunks of the animal. at 0:27:29 the scene is over. there's no plot or dialogue during this so if you skip it you won't miss anything.

a worm parasite is shown several times during the film, including a scene where someone tries to pass it into another host through their mouths.
