Two friends' tour of Europe takes a dark turn when one of them contracts a mysterious illness. They race to find out what it is and how to cure it before the sickness consumes him completely.
This movie contains 21 potentially triggering events.
Derek wakes up in his hotel room having been attacked by the woman that he brought back with him. He has no memories of what happened, but it quickly becomes clear that he was not sexually assaulted.
A character pulls their eye out with their bare hands. They show the empty socket and the mess in their hands. They then immediately rip out their second eye. Both eyes regenerate seconds later.
Once the characters get to the scene where they eat italian food, derek throws up very violently throughout the movie (spoilers:) every time he consumes something thats not human blood
A character puts a shotgun in their mouth and pulls the trigger. It's sudden, graphic, and very upsetting. They appear to be dead and slumped in front of the camera for an extended moment, before suddenly coming back to life. There is also a discussion later where a character begs to be killed, and asks how to successfully kill themselves.
We get the POV of a character as they step in front of an ambulance and force it to slam to a halt. Later the ambulance appears to crash or come to a sudden stop and someone not wearing a seat belt appears to be thrown around inside, but the footage is shaky and it's hard to tell.
No one is physically hit by a car, but there's two really close calls, one where it barely swerves to miss Clif and an ambulance that stops short of Derek
