It’s not shown but you can hear it in one scene. Just after Polly visits Reuben’s work and brings take-out food, you see a bathroom stall door and hear Reuben vomiting. It is brief. There are also several brief moments of gagging and lots of mentioning of vomit.

not sure if this should go under audio gore or misophonia. This movie has so much excessive sounds, body fluids mostly and body functions, like even slapping a guy on the shoulder during a basketball scene was extra squelchy. Getting whipped in the face with someones hair, getting bumped into by a sweaty guy, reuben’s IBS gurgling and burps. There was so much purposely gross wet sound in this movie

there is no intentional ED behavior in this movie, however just a heads up to ppl triggered by ED-adjacent behavior, reuben has pretty severe IBS and eats a lot of food with polly that makes him sick. he vomits after eating onscreen (audio only) after one meal he really enjoyed, and later in the movie (TW)- someone mentions he has lost weight, he casually references throwing up a lot, then another time later in the movie casually says he threw up 19 times in 48 days or something (i forget the numbers.) not an eating disorder, but things that people in recovery cant safely do

However, i did not particularly notice excessive sounds of chewing or silverware. I don’t have misophonia though, sorry if this information does not help

they are in the cabin of a boat during a storm out in the ocean. neither of them is acting at all claustrophobic, they are even having a fight and it’s not brought up or focused on that theyre stuck with each other at the moment.

two easily skippable scenes you can tell whats going on before you wanna skip, one just foreplay/making out in bed and one sex scene. decent amount of verbal references and innuendo. one third scene early on in the movie is harder to see coming, when reuben is looking for his wife on the boat. they are heard but not shown for a few seconds, then it shows their feet still having active sex, they are interrupted realizing Reuben is there and then the camera shows them still in position under a blanket but just not moving. it was so awkward and long
