Each Christmas, Santa and his vast army of highly trained elves produce gifts and distribute them around the world in one night. However, when one of 600 million children to receive a gift from Santa on Christmas Eve is missed, it is deemed ‘acceptable’ to all but one – Arthur. Arthur Claus is Santa’s misfit son who executes an unauthorized rookie mission to get the last present half way around the globe before dawn on Christmas morning.
its 50/50.There is a moment where someone goes “Christmas is no time for emotions” when the main character is upset about something that is clearly bothering him
The reindeer are left behind when the sleigh crashes the third time. They find their own way home, but they aren't taken very good care of during the journey.
Arthur, the grandfather and the elv leave without telling the others to bring the present to Gwen. They do so because they were told not to go and have to leave secretly. The are reunited with their family safely in the end.
No, despite numerous scenes in which people would've broken pretty much every bone in their bodies if it had been real life (deep falls, having a sleigh land on them).
It looks like the grandsanta is sacrificing himself so that Arthur can deliver the present when the sled is destroyed by the military. But he jumps off in time and everyone is safe.
I wouldn't say Arthur is autistic-coded and he isn't said to be autistic either. He does experience some situations where he is ostracized because of the way he is or the way he acts, but there is no abuse or any harm to him. Everything resolves at the end as well!
Maybe sort of. The main character has a lot of phobias and gets anxious or afraid several times throughout the movie when he has to face/overcome them.
No, but a flying sleigh crash lands on top of a group of people and a reindeer. They're all 100 % unharmed. Later on, a flying sleigh is hit by missiles and explodes, but no one is in it.
