In Episode 7, Daisy talks about how her parents are forcing her to have a lot of extracurricular activities, and that she feels exhausted. A thought in Sean's head in Episode 6 heavily implies that his parents argue.

In Episode 8, Hailey's stage fright is discussed in detail. During a flashback, there is a slightly disturbing scene where Hailey imagines that the eyes of everyone around her are focused on her, and she begins to panic. In the following scene, she is standing on stage, and the camera slowly zooms in on her, while her heartbeat and heavy breathing can be heard, then she runs offstage. Shortly after, she is shown crying by the lockers. When questioned as to what was wrong, she replies, "I can't! I can't do it! They're all looking at me!" and sobs more heavily. Jake has a few anxiety attacks as well, especially in Episode 9. Though not exactly an anxiety attack, in Episode 5 Zander has a meltdown and cries.

Milly playfully says, "It's not my fault your butt is so big!" when being accused by Jake of shoving him, but this is for comedy. Henry is often teased for being short.

In Episode 5, four characters are hiding behind a bush in close quarters, and argue about stepping on and shoving each other, but only the outside of the bush (and the tops of their heads) is seen.

Nothing worse than teenage crushes (opposite- and same-sex) and a kiss between Luke and Zander.
