I also want to add that in episode 5, animal control is looking for a dog, and mentions a storm is coming, so he wants to find him before the storm. he is not mentioned again and it is unclear if the dogs is found. it could be implied this dog was the animal control person's and he comes back later and lists his dogs, and does not include this dog.
