During a flashback when Beth is quite young, her mom walks into a lake and swims out to a landing quite a ways away from the shore. Beth is scared because she sees her mom go under, but doesn’t see her swimming. After a few anxious moments, her Mom climbs up the ladder on the landing. She then waves, gets back in the water, and swims back to shore. No actual danger involved, but Beth is very scared for a moment when she doesn’t see her Mom & is worried she’s hurt or in danger.
