No abuse but characters forgive each other for (fictional) hate speech including Ember forgiving her parents for teaching her "elements don't mix" prejudice.

Ember's father is not necessarily abusive, but he does teach her some "racist" attitudes that she repeats to others (E.G. you shouldn't be in a relationship with someone who isn't the same element as you)

It wasn't a real struggle, it was just like he wanted her to see something she was depraved off when she was a little girl, he with a friend made a air bubble for her to go under water to go see the flower. But she almost go without air because of her fire, but they got through and nothing happened.

Wade's father (never shown) and Ember's grandmother (shown briefly). The short film CARL'S DATE which preceded the film in theaters references Carl's wife dying, whose photo he kisses before going on his first date since her death.

Mild flinches if you watch it in 3D when tree branches or water is flung at the audience, but otherwise safe. The preceding short film "Carl's Date" has a funny gag when Carl Fredricksen comes downstairs; the music sting that plays when it cuts to his face is pretty jarring though. This happens after the scene where Carl and Dug have a fake conversation.

At one point it seems like the blue flame (which Ember's parents brought with them from Fireland and is very important to their culture) has been destroyed, but it turns out it was saved.

There is a scene where Ember is within an air bubble completely submerged underwater. As the air bubble gets closer and closer to bursting, she is quickly pushed through a narrow tunnel of water.

Ye, When I came to the cinema there was a huge epilepsy warning better say suffering from photo epilepsy.
I had to cover my eyes everytime Amber hit panick attack and exploded, which happend like 3 times I guess. Overall I didn't feel sick or anything during or after the movie.

Wade has a non-binary sibling named Lake, who officially uses they/them pronouns, but in the movie, Wade uses she/her on them and is never corrected in-universe. This was likely a mistake on the actor’s part.

there are two moments where a (presumably allo) character is told that they will always be single, and it’s associated with loneliness and a generally negative connotation.

Light "yes" - there are two brief sexual jokes, but no actual sexual content. *********Spoilers!********* First joke: Ember and Wade pass by two tree folk picking fruit off each other, and the trees nervously say "Nothing weird going on! Just a bit of pruning." Second joke: At the very end of the movie, when Ember is getting ready to move, her father tells her that now, he and Ember's mother will have "more time for hanky-panky."

You do see humanoid-ish characters that usually wear clothes without clothes, but they’re animated and made of things like water without discernible parts and it’s not treated as an issue. Clothes aren’t really necessary in universe.
