It is mentioned, and a character threatens to have another character tortured if he does not do what he wants but nothing is seen onscreen and the threats aren’t very explicit.

A woman is grabbed and forced into a closet which she is then locked in. She is hear shouting to be let out but does not seem very distressed, she is also seen later in the film and appears to be fine. Another woman in grabbed by a man and kissed without her consent, the same man later grabs her and she spits on him. This results in a tense scene where he and other men talk about hitting or shooting her but nothing happens.
One scene could be particularly distressing, a man forces his wife/partner to sing when she does not want to. She is addicted to alcohol and he uses this to control her, not letting her drink. He says that if she sings she can drink, she sings and he then says she isn’t allowed to drink because she didn’t sing well. She then becomes distressed and cries.

There are some gunshots and screaming throughout the film, it is usually obvious when this will happen though as a character will have been wielding a gun or someone has just been shot etc.

Native Americans are referred to as "Indians" and "reds" and are not described or treated well by today’s standards. There is no violence or severe hate speech though.

There are, however, Indigenous people referred to as “Indians,” two of whom die, and all of whom are not handled well by today’s standards
