Not necessarily a child by their parent, but a similar theme. It's established early on that the animals of 100 Acre Wood relied on Christopher Robin for companionship and food. When he matured and went off to college it caused them to starve and eventually eat someone in their group. After which they broke down and rejected humanity. It's revisited in later scenes. So, not the same situation, but could be triggering in a similar vein.
