Annie's life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian's maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she’ll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you’ll go for someone you love.
This movie contains 19 potentially triggering events.
Discussed shaving is shown for a few seconds at a distance where it can’t be seen. Another time a character briefly touches a woman’s leg and says “that’s prickly”
In the uncut version, there is a scene where an adult talks to a child very briefly. The child says some concerning things played for a joke. For example, rather than saying “where you’re sitting now,” they say “right where your underpants are” (both characters are fully clothed).
Around 45 minutes in, at the dress shop. It lasts until about 49 minutes in. It has full visual and very triggering audio. It's a joke, I guess, but it's incredibly graphic, not funny at all, and ended up being one of those movies that gave me mild PTSD (I have emetophobia). I cringe just remembering it.
Very mild. After that Bride and Groom say I go there are a few fireworks and laser lights. Then when the bride and groom walk to the limo after the wedding there are a few flashes from cameras. When Annie's "ride" drives away with her after the wedding the police lights are on as they pull away. It's not a close-up of them or strobing.
