Not sure how anyone could say no. The bees in the movie are real and were bred for the movie. Dozens of those bees stung people (and the bees subsequently died)
Helen is restrained in several ways including being handcuffed, pinned down, strapped to a table, and strapped to a chair. These are all done to her in self defense or by a doctor.
A story about a young boy being attacked is shown. The young boy is shown with his genitals removed, writhing and screaming. Very upsetting.
Later, an extended scene where a cop demands the main character undress. She is crying and covered in blood. Extended scene that is very dehumanizing/triggering.
An event that takes place prior to the events of the movie describe a child's murder. Though the child doesn't die right away, a cop says he was killed.
cops are portrayed negatively- even initially “friendly” ones later act rather vicious, and it’s mentioned that they neglected to properly aid black people, only taking action after a white woman is attacked
a character is involuntarily committed to psychiatric institution, scenes of physical restraint/psychological distress and forced sedation, character is surprised to learn they have been committed for a long time. scenes of successful escape from psych ward - fairly long sequence
Helen's whole life falls apart and then there's a montage of her standing by a bridge and looking in the water. I'm p sure she doesn't actually attempt but she definitely thought about it
There is a scene where the main character has an experience that is unexplained. The time of the event was caught on camera surveillance but does not show what the main character is talking about.
Throughout the movie all black characters are portrayed negatively. A majority of the black characters are poor, and many are gang members, violent, and presumed drug sellers/users. Mention of slavery and a story of a black slave becoming incredibly wealthy post-Civil War. These factors are hypothesized by one character to be catalysts for a black character's horrible violence. A major character is a black woman who comments she and her friend are in a poor area of the city, and she is terrified of the gang members at the building's entrance.
Helen is forced to strip by police. There's also a scene of her bathing but her parts are mostly obscured by her arms and the water. One of the murder victims is shown completely naked but that scene is brief.
