Everything in this movie is a car, train, boat, plane, etc. even the bug like creatures are so I doubt this would be much of a trigger.

The villain tries to gaslight Mater by calling him “crazy” and insulting him.
Lots of poor communication which arguably leads to some gaslighting. Also, the movie is based around secret agents so everyone is lying all the time.

A car in a fancy toilet/shower gets sprayed aggressively in the undercarriage which startles him. That’s the closest thing.

There’s no eye mutilation but a character does get spray paint in his eyes and they’re shown as red in pain.

Mater winds up in a fancy toilet/shower. He intends to only use the restroom but all the controls are in Japanese so he winds up “taking a shower” (it’s like a stationary car wash).

Characters leak oil (their version of peeing) on multiple occasions. It’s embarrassing for the characters and they’re visibly uncomfortable.

Government spies save the day so, kinda? Military people and cops are also shown as good guys but none of those are lead characters.

I’m not sure what the yes votes are referencing. Mater, a visibly rusty car, makes a joking comment that his rust might be “starting to show”. Some cars have body image issues because they’re “lemons” (cars that break down all the time). None of this really classifies as true body dysmophoa but it may be what the yes votes are referencing.

People are trapped (either by being tied up or for other reasons) and those scenes could feel claustrophobic.

Absolutely. It’s paired with classism. A major theme in the movie is that Mater is a “fool” and how he’s always embarrassing his friends and everyone is laughing at him. Mater is pretty close to a “hick” stereotype so everything that goes along with that goes here.
There is also a scene where Mater meets a car that has eyes as headlights instead of a windshield and he is visibly freaked out. This could be viewed as mild ableism. The scene is brief.
Use of the term “lunatic”. Use of the term “crazy” (this is used while someone is trying to gaslight someone else).

All the characters are sentient vehicles so no traditional gore. However, there is a lot of cartoon violence, death, even torture… Oil and gears are used in place of blood and guts. The overal tone of this film is just much darker than the first Cars, think James Bond or Mission Impossible. Right in the first sequence a sentient car falls from a great height and is shattered upon impact so you can see if it’s going to be a problem for you or your kids.
