ABSOLUTELY YES. A parent ignores her young child's complaint for food and insists that the child poses for her art. In later scenes she ignores her child, endangers her, swears at her unprovoked, and abandons her at girl scouts. There was so much that was triggering for my own experiences of neglect. The child grows up and worries she'll be like her mother if she becomes a parent
