The beginning of the movie starts with rapidly flashing scenery, but most of the movie isn't that fast. Throughout the film, there are scenes in a more "water color" style to illustrate Tomona's blindness which can be somewhat flashy or eye strain worthy at times. The song "Dragon Commander" features a lot of flashing lights. After we see Tomona at the river, there's a short scene with lots of flower petals flowing across the screen. At the end, there's a scene with some flashing lights, then the camera spins around characters which was hard to look at.
