When the protagonist is in stressful situations they make really effective use of sound design. Biggest one for me was in the spa, getting manicures, the sounds of the nail files and nail clippers were loud, repetitive, and heavily focused on. There's another one later with chewing noises but it's briefer, and the focus is mostly on the imagery rather than the sound
