There is some controversy about this. The official content warnings mention jumpscares, but many online reviews say there are none. In reality, there are few, if any, jumpscares where there is a sudden loud noise that activates your startle response (I think. I did not play the whole game). But there are moments where the game leads you to feel at ease and then something abruptly, unexpectedly, viscerally scary happens. YMMV, but I would guess it probably will not activate your startle response, but likely will activate your flight or fight

MAJOR and intended to be scary. Sometimes when the player rewinds and replays a clip that had not had fourth wall breaking before, a character suddenly looks at the camera and says something that implies the game can harm the player. Heavy spoiler: One of the characters watches a video clip of a character’s death and it causes her to become possessed. The ending of the game implies that playing the game (specifically watching the clip of another character’s death) has caused the player to become possessed as well.

Several more clips imply the actors in those scenes are uncomfortable or feel pressured by the director to film such scenes. (Note: the "behind the scenes" clips are part of the game's fiction. The actual, real-world actors were presumably fine with their jobs.) Both can be stumbled into randomly and are quite confronting without context.
