Vanessa gets stalked (observed) by Wade at her workplace after he comes back from the mutation facility. He doesn't want to be seen by her because of how he looks.
Wade is shown being injected with various chemicals. Al mentions “missing cocaine”, and later there is a joke about cocaine being hidden in her house. Characters are shown drinking and multiple scenes take place in a bar.
A fellow captive who Wade becomes close with dies when the mutant facility burns down. Wade, who’s restrained at the time, is forced to watch, unable to do anything about it.
While Wade's terminal cancer coupled with his healing factor results in his body scarring all over, I would not consider this body horror, as similar injuries could happen to an actual human. Nonetheless, it may be disturbing to look at.
Honestly it’s not as gory or even frequent as people make it out to be (than again I’m desensitized to media gore) but yes, there are decapitations, heads getting torn open by bullets, limbs getting cut off, etc.
Deadpool tries to fight colossus by punching and kicking him, breaking both his arms and legs in the process because he’s made of solid steel. Played for laughs.
to skip through most of them, once deadpool enters the mutant facility, fast forward for a while- ideally have someone else do it for you. after the scene with an all consuming fire, you're safe
i personally wasnt prepared and this made me panic. stay safe, folks! ?
I'd say so; when Deadpool is mutated, his skin turns disfigured, and he gets self-conscious about returning to Vanessa, but it's less of him being insecure and more of "IM NOT HOT!!" yk?
Deadpool’s main motivation for the whole movie. When he mutates from the experiments, his entire skin disfigures into burn-like scars. Despising how he looks, he doesn’t return to Vanessa fearing her reaction to his new appearance, hides his appearance in a costume that covers his entire body and seeks revenge on Ajax.
