(SPOILERS: skip this if you don’t want spoilers… David is killed by a shadow creature at the end of the second season.)
A case could also be made for Wylan, who is canonically neurodivergent in at least one way (SPOILERS: he’s dyslexic)… I guess he could also be the autistic-coded character @justaqueerdragon is referring to? (Warning: character backstory spoilers ahead) In the books, Wylan’s father is ashamed of him because he can’t read.
