While a child is never voluntarily abandoned by a parent in the course of the movie, children being taken and separated from their parents is a major plot point and could be triggering if this is something you’re sensitive to.

I guess you can call it animal abuse when someone supernaturally controls huge flocks of bats with his mind, basically using them as kamikaze pilots against his enemies. Little dudes were just hanging around minding their own business when the guy came along and decided to weaponise the s**t out of them.

Close-up of a tarantula at around 23:45 and again around 30:45 seconds. A shot with a spider wrapping a fly in its web occurs about a minute after that.

Although this movie has fantasy creatures such as vampires, no dragons appear in the movie. “Vlad the Implaler aka Vlad Drăculea” who’s name means “Son of the Dragon” does wear armour with a dragon on it, but this is the closest to a dragon in this movie.

There is a horse seen in battle, but we never get to know if the horse survives or not. Based on the rest of the movie, there is a very good chance that the horse is alright.

Some bats must definitely die, since huuuge numbers of them are crashed into rocks, the ground, armoured men and more by a man who controls them supernaturally. However, we don't really see them die.

Plenty of mental/emotional torture (excruciating lose-lose dilemmas imposed and more). As for physical torture, I'm not sure, as I've already forgotten a lot of the movie, but it's rather likely that some physical torture takes place, since it's all very brutal. I must mention that we see "forests" of impaled people twice (Vlad the Impaler, you know); I'm not entirely sure they're all dead before being impaled. In real life, Vlad Dracul had people killed by impalement, but this movie's version is a good guy, so maybe that's been changed.

Technically, the fall does not kill this character. They are killed by another character. It is made very clear that they would have died from the fall if they had not been killed.

Not mutilation, I think, but we see "vampire hands", i.e. corpse-like and brown-clawed, and a normal hand being transformed into one.

People set fire to a building with a vampire inside it; the only reason why he isn't burned alive is that he's impervious to fire. Apart from that, a whole lot of vampires are burned alive by the sun, i.e. they go from undead to dead, excruciatingly so.

A young boy's loving mother dies (I believe he's there when it happens), and he also sees his loving father die a vampire's death by sunlight burning, not knowing that the father will later be brought back to (vampire) life. So it's a big yes.

Someone tries to commit suicide by sun exposure (he's a good-guy vampire who wants to die completely), and it does seem to work, but then someone comes along and pours blood into his mouth, causing him to come back to life. Whether the suicide/attempt is driven by self-loathing, self-liberation or wanting to protect others from himself isn't clear.

Vlad lets himself lie in the sun and burn in an apparent attempt to harm/kill himself, but he is immortal, and a man feeds him blood to revive him.
