hi! i decided to make a new page for this movie because the last one was filled with triggers from the BOOKS, instead of the movie (even though it was labeled as the movie) so to make things less confusing i decided to do this :)
Someone comments that good people cannot live without true love and that bad people can never find love. Spoiler alert: it turns out that true love is not limited to romantic love.
lots of blood shown when blood magic is used. it pools everywhere and fills up a room. to me it looks very fake (it's super thin, very bright red, etc.) but it may be triggering
(Spoilers) At the end of the film, Sophie sacrifices herself for Agatha and gets stabbed doing so. She is then later revived by true love’s kiss, which was from Agatha. (I should point out that Agatha’s kiss was friendly, not romantic.)
In the School for Evil, Hester spits on the floor right next to Sophie, causing magical sparks. This is when they are in their dorm room, and Sophie insults Hester’s mother unintentionally.
Not medical ones but there is a long scene where people get their fingers pricked by a needle, including where the needle is shown going completely through someone’s finger although with no blood
She is not attempting suicide, however at one point a character steps onto an invisible platform over a chasm and another character says “it’s not worth it”, implying suicide as a joke
There is a girl who spits and it sparks, she does this to Sophie when they're in the dorm room. If you hear a spit, you can close your eyes.
At around 59, a boy is surrounded by a small lightning storm that is a little flashy.
The movie is not very graphic. There are a few scene with blood/gore, but they are mild. There is one scene where the floor is filled with (waterlike) blood.
