Edward is clearly uncomfortable with an older woman’s advances, and does not have the social skills to read the situation and verbalize his discomfort before it gets inappropriate. Edward is straddled and caressed before abruptly standing up and walking out the door.
Although there is a brief scene (see the "is there sexual assault?" question) in which an older woman makes sexual advances towards Edward and turns the story around to pin the blame on him, there are no jokes made about sexual assault on men as the one answer to this question implies.
There's no limb stubs or limbs being cut off. The other commenter mentioned Edwards hand being removed but it was actually a prototype she grabbed from a rack
SPOILER!
Jim is stabbed and pushed out a window near the end of the film in an act of self-defense after attacking Edward and Kim. The scene is very brief, with minimal blood. More shocking than scary.
Someone dies (partially) onscreen when they are stabbed and pushed out a window near the end of the film. However, the character who dies is an antagonist throughout the entire film, and dies as a result of self-defense. The scene is very brief and happens quickly with minimal blood.
The character played by Vincet Price is already deceased from the begining of the film (the saddest part is that this was the last role he ever played)
Edward is coded as autistic and is occasionally violent but only when justified. Other people do not see it this way and view him as a violent mentally ill person
Edward has many autistic traits. With that in mind, Edward is mistreated and ostracized quite often in the film. Characters mistreat him in much the same way autistic people are mistreated.
I wouldn’t say there is any gore, but there is lots of people getting cut and bleeding on accident and someone is (non-graphically) stabbed. Blood is minor.
