The gore effects are pretty campy overall and I don't personally have a hard time with them despite being very squeamish with gore. It just doesn't read as very real. The blood is a little more realistic, and there is a drawn out scene where the main character is hung by her arms with spiked restraints that cause her to bleed, so that may be triggering for folks. It's near the end of the movie and there is build up to it so you get some warning that it's coming.
