Falling Down
Movie • 1993 • Crime
ReportOn the day of his daughter's birthday, William "D-Fens" Foster is trying to get to the home of his estranged ex-wife to see his daughter. His car breaks down, so he leaves his car in a traffic jam in Los Angeles and decides to walk. He goes to a convenience store and tries to get some change for a phone call, but the Korean owner does not oblige, tipping Foster over the edge. The unstable Foster, so frustrated with the various flaws he sees in society, begins to psychotically and violently lash out against them.

Bill watches a home video in his ex-wife's house and we see/hear Bill becoming angry and forceful with his wife and child and basically forcing her to ride a toy horse he bought her. At one point he has a family being held hostage and threatens their child with a gun.

In the opening scene there's a fly buzzing around in Bill's car. There's a shot of it crawling up his neck but nothing too close up

From the clip, it looks like she just spits it out. However, I saw a comment on the clip that someone said:
"she's listed in the credits as "lady who vomited"
To me it's not triggering, but yes she does.

The cops are the heroes in the end who kill the "bad guy." However the plot is forwarded by the police repeatedly failing to adequately protect Bill's ex-wife from him.

One character is a neo-Nazi and owns a store containing several Nazi memorabilia such as uniforms with swastikas visible. While showing off a canister of Zyklon B, a chemical used in gas chambers during the Holocaust, he says k*ke.

It's worth noting that the film's director, Joel Schumacher, is gay and the film does not condone the homophobia. Still, it's tough to watch in two scenes (spoilers):
When our lead enters a gun/military equipment store, the staff member he sees uses the "f" slur out of the blue, when we see two gay men who naturally feel shocked, and also again, when the staff member says it, directing it towards them again, as well as other homophobic stereotypes, and we see them try to stand up against the homophobia, but the owner points a gun at them so they leave.
*And* the second one is especially intense to watch: After it's just the shop's owner and our lead, he complains about gay and lesbian people using different slurs and stereotypes. Then he takes our lead down to a basement full of Nazi items, before our lead rejects it and the owner goes crazy and calls him the "f" slur repeatedly, among saying other horrific things and he threatens him.

A car crash happens shortly after the main character is targeted by its occupants in a drive-by shooting, where the vehicle with the attackers swerves into traffic before crashing into a parked car. The crash itself is offscreen but is audible. The driver and passengers are injured and at least one is implied to have died.
